Who are we?
Groundscrew Solutions is an independent business based in Cornwall. We have been delivering high quality instant foundation solutions for 6 years in both Cornwall and Devon. We pride ourselves on excellent customer focus, quick turn around and installing robust Groundscrews to the private and commercial sectors.
What we do
We believe simplicity is the key! After a free site visit to run through the project and test the ground, we will then book a convenient date to instal. As most jobs take 1 day to complete, we pride ourselves in a quick turn around. No excavations required, no concrete poured, no mess left! We can work around limited access and sloping ground.
Environmental
At GroundScrew Solutions we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Our foundation system is helping drive down carbon emissions against conventional methods.
Concrete is now the second most consumed substance on Earth after water. On average, each year 3 tonnes of concrete is consumed for every person on the planet, with 10% of all global carbon emissions as a consequence of cement production.
Environmental Impact example:
For a conventional concrete foundation base at 4m x 5m it would take;
A minimum of 1000kgs of cement -1250kgs of embedded carbon per 1000kgs of cement
Or for 20 GroundScrew s weighing 8.9kg each producing only 320.4kg
Health & Safety
For every project Health and Safety is our top priority for both our staff and customers and all projects are assessed on an individual basis. We can work around underground services and tree root zones.

Design & Planning
We will assist your project through all stages of development from the initial design through to installation and liaise where necessary with any involved 3rd party such as planners or structural engineers.
Testing
GroundScrew Solutions can carry out on site ground ‘load testing’ to provide calibrated safe working data for compression, uplift and horizontal forces applied to the ground screws in your unique ground conditions.
Installations
No digging and excavation removal, no concrete, no mess from plant movement, our system is environmentally friendly, cost efficient and clean. Our equipment can be carried in so restricted access proves no problem to our operations.
Timber bases
We can design, build and install high-quality structural grade timber bases to your specifications which fix securely onto the Groundscrews leaving you to simply place your planned build or decking top!
