At GroundScrew Solutions we pride ourselves in delivering to the South West a range of high quality groundscrews that offer the domestic, leisure and construction industries instant foundation systems whilst at the same time removing the requirement for excavations, disposal and concrete pour costs. We can also design, construct and deliver robust timber base frames for both the building and decking. We offer a rental solution for temporary short duration support systems.
We provide environmentally friendly foundation solutions at competative rates. We are committed to customer service and we will assist in any way possible from site surveys, professional advice, ground testing to supply and installation.
Enviromental
At GroundScrew Solutions we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Our foundation system is helping drive down carbon emissions against conventional methods.
Concrete is now the second most consumed substance on Earth after water. On average, each year 3 tonnes of concrete is consumed for every person on the planet, with 10% of all global carbon emissions as a consequence of cement production.
Environmental Impact example:
For a conventional concrete foundation base at 4m x 5m it would take;
A minimum of 1000kgs of cement -1250kgs of embedded carbon per 1000kgs of cement
Or for 20 GroundScrew s weighing 8.9kg each producing only 320.4kg
Health & Safety.
We are committed to the wellbeing of our staff and clients using robust risk assessments and method statements through every aspect of our business. If required, we carry out underground services and utility searches, on-site surveys and CAT scanning. All our staff are highly trained and carry or are working towards CITB, CSCS, DBS and NPTC accreditation.
